Free Speed???

For a long time now...I've always longed for that super cool old school (circa late 1980's) Campy TT water bottle. Only problem is, Campy doesn't make it any more :-(, and since that time, I haven't seen one since!

So when I saw this "Chrono" bottle, made by Arundel, at excelsports for about $60 or so...I bit! Compared to the large size round bottles I use, this thing is WAY more aero, the only down side being...if I loose the bottle...I'm s@rewed! And with the CRAPPY roads we got here on Oahu, who knows if the bottle will stay place. At least the carbon cage looks pretty thick and feels snug enough.

The design of the old school Campy bottle was maybe a bit better since, as I remember, that bottle was a bit skinnier and had a hole you could stick your hand through. This Arundel bottle only has some raised nubs...so hopefully it doesn't fall out of your hands when you're in the second half of a TT haze...
Hopefully this aero shaped thing "buys" me 15 or 20 seconds or so in a 40k...hopefully...
